The descent is on the east side via the slope and back to the starting point.
A visit to the small mountain church on the Tauplitzalm is worthwhile. With its characteristic roof shape and stained glass windows, it is the perfect place for an inner retreat.
From Tauplitz train station to the valley station of the 4-seater chairlift is about 20 minutes walk. The bus stop is located directly at the valley station.
Sufficient parking spaces are available at the valley station in Tauplitz and at the large parking lot on the Tauplitzalm.
