We start our hike at the Lebenskraftweg at the church square in Straden, where we have the opportunity to go to the Greißlerei De Merin right at the beginning. Here you will find delicacies from the Straden region!
Our hike now leads us over the Friedlstriege, to the crossroads Unterstraden and further in the direction of Saziani. A striking feature of this area is the vineyards visible from far and wide and the panoramic plateau. Between the Saziani inn and the Schlafgut Neumeister there is a well, already mentioned in 1542, which for a long time supplied the water necessary for processing the grapes. At the Schlafgut Neumeister we keep to the right and then turn left onto the nature trail or fitness trail. After the steps in the forest our hike continues straight ahead, we pass the habitat design manufactory Team R2 including an artist's room until we reach a brick wayside shrine which is not quite conquered by the green nature.
Further our hike leads us to Schwabau and over the Poppendorferbach to the Urlmüller. Here you can expect over 300 paradeis and over 80 chili varieties in summer. Here you will find a farm store with many different products made by hand. Let yourself be captivated by the delicacies! Close to nature, the hike leads us to the Wolfleiten and on to Waasen where vegetable, kernel oil and mustard specialties await us at the farm store of the Schillinger family. I hope our backpack is big enough for all the delicacies!After a short climb we reach shell and snail deposits from prehistoric times. This special note of the soil is noticeable in the wines. From here we hike along the ridge with a wonderful view of Straden. The Sieglinde Schelch ceramics factory is also nearby.We now circle the Hochaugenweide, the second highest point in the market town of Straden, and come to enjoy the magnificent panoramic view. Via the middle Waasenberg and the Poppendorferbach we reach the organic winery Monschein with a wonderful courtyard, culinary specialties and wine from its own cultivation. We now hike on to the entrance to the church forest, now follow the nature trail again to the school sports field and return via the Sazianirundweg to the Schlafgut Neumeister and the church square. A magnificent panoramic view from a place of special vitality rewards you!
