Our kitchen takes care of the well-tried Styrian classics as well as new creations from local products. We buy directly from the producers of traditional food. From the Sulmtaler chicken, highland beef from Leutschach or local cheese specialties, depending on the availability of the products we constantly change our menu to seasonal focuses and fresh ideas.
The availability of the products, for example from asparagus, over the Maibock to autumnal game specialties, determines our constantly changing menu. The "fixed sizes" from pan and oven are always present, but are also gladly refined with seasonal ingredients always new. We are also happy to be inspired by your ideas in our kitchen.
As the largest wine-growing community in Styria, the South Styrian wine, from well-known winemakers as well as new discoveries found by us again and again, has the most important place in our wine cellar. The variety of our winemakers is now so enormous that it probably leaves nothing to be desired. Leutschach is also the largest hop-growing community in Austria, and so the famous Leutschach aroma hops naturally get a corresponding place on our drinks menu. Rounded off by local natural juices, we are also here regional and fresh.
In our old, grown building from the 18th century there are many different possibilities to celebrate smaller and bigger with us. In the hall with up to 80 seats, in the sun-flooded winter garden with about 40, but also gladly at the regulars' table, in the Schanigarten or simply at your favorite table.
