Theatre with tradition The theatre hall in Deutsch Goritz was opened back in 1913.
For over 110 years, the tradition of playing theatre together has been very important in Deutsch Goritz, which is why the performances of the theatre group are firmly anchored in the life of the association in Deutsch Goritz. This year we are performing the play ‘Hausmädchen-Revolte’ (Maid Revolt), a lively play in three acts by Janine Berger. The play is about the filthy rich and belligerent Frau von Drachenberg, who is convinced that money rules the world. Her arrogance and snootiness are well known and she is not wanted anywhere. Klaus would actually like to quit his job as a handyman in her house, but he cannot and will not abandon his friends. Only Mrs von Burgstein maintains her friendship with Adelheid. In this case, the family doctor is very helpful in smoothing things over and giving the house servants Susi, Melanie and Jenny a short holiday. Will it work out so well?
The play will be performed by the Deutsch Goritz theatre group under the direction of Cäcilia Zöhrer.
