The Michlhof is located at approx. 600 m above sea level with a panoramic view of the village of Stubenberg (approx. one kilometer away), the Stubenbergsee, the Riegersburg, the Kulm vis a vis with the prehistoric Celtic Museum and the local mountain of Graz, also known as the Schöckl. Our riding and inn is the perfect vacation spot for the whole family, especially for animal lovers, horse lovers and nature lovers. Around 20 well-trained riding horses including our own riding stables await our big and small guests. There are also lots of goats, rabbits, cats, chickens and guinea pigs to feed and love. In addition to the large outdoor playground with trampoline, slide and carousel, there is also a weatherproof indoor playground on over 140 m² with a slide, playhouse, ball pool, bouncy castle and table football. New: covered round pen in solid wood construction with a diameter of 20.5 metres. This means that riding is possible all year round, regardless of the weather, and nothing stands in the way of multifunctional use. Lift extension and 3 new panorama apartments, each 60 m². Sleep and live at the Michlhof 18 twin rooms, expandable to 3 to 4 beds. 5 apartments for up to 4 - 6 people. 2 living studios with kitchen for 2 to 4 people. And a holiday apartment vis a vis for 2 - 4 people, with HD TV, WiFi, some with connecting doors and a balcony. Host information
The Michlhof has been a family business for 52 years. The youngest son of the family of seven, Stefan Schlagbauer, has been running the family-run Michlhof in the second generation for 28 years.

Coming from Vienna
Take the southern highway (A2) to the Hartberg exit, exit there and take the federal road (B54) in the direction of Graz. 2 km after Kaindorf, at the Hartl roundabout, take the first exit towards Stubenberg am See. Follow the road and after about 5 kilometers turn right in the direction of Stubenberg am See and then immediately right again in the direction of Stubenberg-Ort. Cross the main square, keep right and take the small road to the Pöllau - Zeil sign and then follow the green "Michlhof" signs.
Coming from Salzburg/Germany
Via the Pyhrnautobahn (A9) to Graz, then continue via the southern highway (A2) in the direction of Vienna to the Gleisdorf West exit. Take the federal road (B54) in the direction of Hartberg, turn left in Kaibing and drive in the direction of Tierpark Herberstein and Stubenberg am See. Drive to the village of Stubenberg, cross the main square, keep to the right and take the small road to the Pöllau – Zeil sign and then follow the green “Michlhof” signs.
By train
