In October 2012, we took the plunge and moved from Tyrol to Styria to buy an old farm (partially built in 1550), with the intention to, after extensive renovations, rent rooms to vacationers.

We: That would be the Tiefenbrunner family - Birgit and Günther together with our two school children.

At that time, few had enough imagination to visualize the end result. Almost everything was demolished by ourselves as well as rebuilt, renovated, plastered, bricked up and concreted.

Thousands of hours of work later we are now in 2019 - for almost 7 years we have put everything into our project.

Now we are proud to conclude the construction project "Tiefala's Eck" (the name comes from the nickname "Tiefala") with May of year 2019 for the first time opened our doors to guests.

  Lodging Contract

  Arrival / Departure

  Check in: 2:30pm-7pm, Check out: 10:30am

  If you arrive after 7pm we kindly ask that you notify us in advance.

  Our room prices include the Genusscard (1.3.-31.10.), breakfast and the lodging tax of € 2,50 per person per night for persons over the age of 15 years.

  From 1.3. until 31.10. the Genusscard is included in the room price. You can use all benefits from the day of arrival to the day of departure. Furthermore, you can (with prior agreement) use the Genusscard with all its benefits on the day of arrival before check-in, even if your room is not yet ready. (www.genusscard.at)

  The room rate, as well as the night tax are, if not already paid, to be paid on departure in cash (ATM is available in the nearby town if needed).

  If you have an additional overnight guest, please let us know in advance!

  Rooms

  Pets are unfortunately not permitted in our rooms.

  Our rooms are all non-smoking rooms. Smoking is permitted only on the terrace, balcony or outside seating. Please use the provided ashtrays.

  Please ensure when leaving the room that candles, electric lights and electrical appliances such as the hair dryer, coffee maker, kettle, etc. are turned off.

  Cleaning / Maintenance

  Room cleaning can be done until 1pm. Since we do not want to disturb you during your vacation, we ask that you display your door sign showing the cleaning symbol, if you would like your room serviced. Otherwise please flip it to show "please do not disturb" (Bitte nicht stören) . Please note that after 1pm however, no room cleaning will be done.

  If you would like your bath towels cleaned, simply leave them on the bathroom floor and we will take care of that for you.

  If you have any problems with the appliances in the room, please let us know right away so that we may service or replace them for you

  Wifi 

  Our rooms all have password-protected Wifi. The password may only be passed on to house guests.

  As a user, you are prohibited from any use of the wifi hotspot that violates applicable law, violates the rights of third parties or violates the principles of the protection of minors.

  Breakfast

  If you have any allergies, please make a note of this on the breakfast list that will be given to you upon arrival or let us know when booking. (Lactose-free milk, cheese, gluten-free bread, etc.) We strive to fulfill your wishes.

  Liability

  Please use the playground and the rest of the premises at your own risk. Parents are responsible for their children.

  In case of loss of the room key, the guest will need to pay € 50, - as the lock and key have to be exchanged.

  We, the landlords, are not liable for the valuables of the tenants.

  If you’re missing something for your vacation, please contact us. Most problems can be resolved easily.
