A surprisingly modern and lively insight into the traditional craft of blacksmithing is provided by numerous prepared models. From the origin of the materials to the production of the blade, the individual processes are explained in detail and clearly presented in stations.The social and local history can also be found in numerous pictures and representations. In two separate rooms you will find a small arsenal with historical sabers and blade production products and a separate company and family room with a history that stretches from the 16th century to the present day.Let yourself be surprised and immerse yourself in the world of blacksmithing!
Visiting the museum is free of charge - voluntary donations to the association "Freunde der Klingenschmiede" are gladly accepted. Guided tours in English are also available on special request. If you are interested, the tour can also be combined with a Mosdorf adventure tour.
Guided tours can be arranged from Tuesday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. These are carried out from a group size of 5 people.
