The tower in the mountains awaits on the
Tremmelberg
At 1194 metres above sea level, the Tremmelberg in the Seckau Alps north of the town of Knittelfeld in the Murtal is certainly not the highest mountain, but it impresses with its stunning views. The tower in the mountains can be seen from far and wide.
Many roads lead not only to Rome, but also to the Tremmelberg. But all paths up the mountain in the Seckau Alps have one thing in common - the destination is the 42 metre high "Turm im Gebirge" observation tower, which was built in 1999 and offers an impressive view. The tower is equipped with a turnstile and you have to pay € 2 for the ascent. After your hike, 202 steps will lead you to the viewing plateau, from where you can look out in all directions and feel a little closer to heaven.
No matter how intense you want your hike to be, you will get your money's worth on a hike up the Tremmelberg. Choose from a crisp 5 kilometres to a long 15 kilometres and enjoy the tranquillity and nature of the Seckau Alps.
