Welcome to Haus Frey, a new vacation accommodation in the heart of Altaussee.
Haus Frey is located on a small stream directly at the entrance to the hiking trail to the idyllic Blaa-Alm. It is only a five-minute walk from the village center with its bakery and spa house, and a ten-minute walk from the public swimming area on Lake Altaussee.
Haus Frey is surrounded by green meadows. From the windows there is an unobstructed view of the most beautiful Altaussee mountains, the Loser, the Trisselwand and the Sandling. The Loser ski area is only five minutes away by car, and the bus station is just a few steps away. Haus Frey has just been newly taken over and furnished for rental. We offer two cozy accommodation units with a complete equipment.
We offer three holiday apartments with all amenities and one studio. House Frey has a small terrace and borders on a meadow, which can be used by guests. A large sauna can be used by arrangement for a small fee. Several bicycles are also available for guests.
There is free parking around the house in private and public parking lots.
The house was once a locksmith's shop, the old workshop with its historical flair is completely preserved and can be used for special purposes by arrangement.
Haus Frey offers ideal conditions for a sporty and relaxed vacation in every season - in summer hiking in the Tote Gebirge, swimming, mountain biking, running around the lake, in winter skiing, cross-country skiing, ski touring, tobogganing, or snowshoeing. Nearby is the show mine Salzwelten Altaussee, one of the most famous tourist attractions in the region. The Ausseerland offers a rich cultural program throughout the year and is next year part of the European Capital of Culture Salzkammergut.
