The former 4-star hotel, which was completely renovated in 2019, is located at 1,650 m directly in the Tauplitz ski area. No ski bus, no waiting, just strap on your skis or snowboard right at the hotel and off you go.
With 43 km of pistes (blue: 18 km, red: 19 km, black: 6 km) up to an altitude of 1,965 m, Tauplitz is the largest single ski area in Styria. The heart of the ski area is the beautiful and car-free Tauplitzalm. Whether beginner or expert, young or old: there is something for everyone on the slopes. The Mitterstein 8-seater gondola lift, for example, offers sporty descents, while the wide and less steep pistes on the Lawinenstein and Schneiderkogel are more for connoisseurs.
Freeride fans also get their money's worth here. There are numerous lines of all possible lengths and with varying gradients. The terrain is very varied and leaves little to be desired. The Tauplitz is one of the most snow-sure areas in the Alps. Modern snow-making facilities also ensure that the winter season lasts until after Easter.
After the slopes, you can relax in your cozy and spacious rooms or use our 400 m² wellness area. Look forward to the panorama indoor pool (6 x 12 meters) and the pine wood panorama sauna. Round off a wonderful day (on the slopes) at the bar or in the cozy Zirbenstube.

The ascent is from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpenstraße. (toll road)
In summer you can drive up to the accommodation. In winter, the car must be left at the large parking lot on the Tauplitzalm.
The walk to the accommodation is about 1.5 kilometers. Luggage is transported to the accommodation.
