Our two self-catering cabins are equipped for up to eight people and are located on the beautiful Tauplitzalm below the mountain station of the 4-person chairlift.
The large Winkler cabin features four cozy bedrooms, while the small Winkler cabin with three bedrooms is perfect for smaller groups or families.
In the summer months, from June to early September, young cattle pass by the cabins daily in the morning and evening – a charming sight. The warm summer evenings invite gatherings at the barbecue area to relax and wind down the day.
Numerous hiking trails begin right in front of the cabins, offering ideal opportunities to explore the surrounding nature in summer.
In winter, the cabins are right by the cross-country ski trails, and the ski slopes are in close proximity – a true paradise for winter sports enthusiasts. Whether summer or winter, nature can be enjoyed here in its most beautiful form.

Conditions
- The access to the Tauplitzalm is via the toll-required Tauplitzalm Alpine Road from Bad Mitterndorf.
- Access is possible in summer all the way to the cabin.
- In winter, cars must be left at the parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. A night parking fee is charged. You will be picked up from the parking lot by snowmobile and taken to the cabin. The snowmobile transport is subject to a fee.
- The gas costs will be settled on-site, depending on consumption.
- Please note that pets are not allowed.

via the A1 Westautobahn, take the Regau exit as far as Gmunden, continue on the B145 as far as Bad Ischl, turn off into Ausseerland/Liezen
via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
