Explore the surrounding forests, lush alpine meadows, and experience the peace and quiet while hiking. From cozy hut walks to challenging hiking tours, Salzstiegl offers a wide range of activities. Popular hiking routes include the ascent to Speikkogel, Rappoldkogel, and Hirschegger Alm.
Trial Park covering 19.5 hectares
In addition to hiking trails, Salzstiegl also offers plenty of action. At Gasthof Moasterhaus, adventure seekers will find a 19.5-hectare trial park, featuring many natural obstacles as well as some artificial barriers.
If you have always wanted to try trial riding, you can book a trial hour including a trainer and equipment. During this hour, you will learn the basic techniques such as stopping, starting, making wide and tight turns, and riding uphill and downhill. You will also learn how to stop in any situation.
If you already have more experience, you can participate in a day trip. Children also have the opportunity to learn this sport – special E-trials are available for this purpose.
