From the former Germann garden in the center of Stadl an der Mur, the procession goes through the village along the main road to the upper village to the Ehrenreich cross junction. Together, the procession transforms the path into a cultural trail. Station 1: House Hofer of Marina and Franz Hofer. Station 2 and festival site: GRIESSNER STADL with a joint closing ritual and subsequent celebration. Everyone is cordially invited to take part in LA PROCESSIONE and the festival.
The project "DIE WELT AUF DEN KOPF stellen", a collaboration between Griessner Stadl and Lebenshilfe Murau, was successfully implemented for the first time at the BIENNALE 2022 in Venice under the direction of FX Mayr and Korbinian Schmidt with LA PROCESSIONE.
Starting from the European Cultural Center in Palazzo Michiel, a joint procession with a dance ritual to Campo Santi Apostoli through Cannaregio defined the path in an inclusive and artistic way.
A new version is being developed for Stadl an der Mur to mark a future cultural trail. They will meet at the possibly future MURHAFEN in the possibly future town center of Stadl on the construction site of the former Germann garden. LA PROCESSIONE will start from there.
