I am a Murtaler - Clementine Chapel

  • 2 minutes of reading time
Harmony and complete contentment arise when you visit our "Murtaler" today. At the Klementikapelle at the Ingeringsee in Gaal you will become one with nature. Especially now in autumn you will be surprised by a unique play of colours and a power-giving idyll.

Stop and enjoy the lake view

The Klementikapelle is a small, fine chapel on the shore of the Ingeringsee lake in Gaal in the Murtal. A few seats invite visitors to slow down. In the summer months, the chapel is open continuously. In winter, the opening hours depend on the weather. The chapel is oriented so that the lake is in the background when guests look towards the altar.

Swiss stone pine takes centre

Fitting for the Murtal, the Klementikapelle was made entirely of Swiss stone pine. The scent is harmonious in the air and underlines the decelerating ambience. Did you know that Swiss stone pine has the property of lowering the heart rate and thus ensures deeper relaxation?

Patiently and very much at peace with itself, the Klementikapelle answered our questions:

Erlebnisregion Murtal: "What connects you to the Murtal?"

Klementikapelle: "My harmonious and idyllic nature. In the Murtal you can't just step on the gas, here the mixture determines the programme. Slowing down and coming to rest is what defines me."

Erlebnisregion Murtal: "When do you feel the heartbeat in the Murtal?"

Weiermoarteich: "I love autumn, when it becomes colourful around me and nature changes into a colourful spectacle, my little wooden heart beats."

Erlebnisregion Murtal: "Where is your favourite place in the Murtal?"

Weiermoarteich: "I love my Ingeringsee. But I have to admit quite honestly that I would like to get to know a completely different side of the Murtal one day. Hohentauern and the Bösenstein are supposed to be great.
