Upon request, visitors to the old farmhouse can also hear humorous and contemplative dialect poems from the landlord and have their own legends told at a West Styrian snack.
THE MUSEUMAlready in 1535 the "Tavern next to the church" with the host Andree Hergg was mentioned in the archive of the Admont Abbey. Today in the beautifully preserved premises of the “Herk” farmhouse museum you can see the equipment and tools for the production of food, clothing, shoes, tools and much more. The model of the “Fürst Lichtensteinschen Waldbahn”, which can be viewed in the basement of the museum, is also particularly worth mentioning. There are many stories to tell about the forest railway that ran from Deutschlandsberg to the "Herksäge" in the open from 1923 to 1963.
