The Buschenschank Gerngross has been in existence since 1956. Much has changed, much has remained the same. Whether Verhackert, sausage spread, Hauswürstl or Jausenspeck - typical Styrian classics are still handmade here according to the old tradition, clearly according to the motto: Grandma hot's a so gmocht!

QUALITY & REGIONALITY

The family Gerngross puts beside the high quality of the products, very much value on the regionality. The specialties that are not produced themselves, they buy in the region. Be it the free-range eggs from Aunt Gerlinde or organic cheese specialties from the farm cheese dairy Deutschmann, just to name a few examples. In the summer months they mainly use vegetables and herbs from their own garden.
