Cozy sitting areas, cozy little places in the courtyard full of planted roses and lavender invite you to linger. In the cozy courtyard café you can enjoy homemade pastries and fine wines. The small delicatessen offers delicacies from roses, lavender, herbs and wild fruits that grow in the surrounding natural garden colorful and can be admired.

In the summer of 2009 we purchased the small farm vulgo Amtmann at the foot of the Kranachberg. Despite the poor and overgrown condition of the farm site, we really liked the sunny single location and we set to work with great zeal on the planning and reconstruction. So in March 2011 we started the reconstruction of the buildings. It was our concern to revitalize the old farmstead with great attention to detail and to give it back its former character. Our goal was also to operate the small farm and build it into a viable business. Therefore, we started looking for new farming opportunities. Since we are passionate about flowers, herbs and trees, we came up with roses, lavender, mints and wild fruits to create innovative culinary products. In the spring of 2010 we planted the first roses, followed by others in 2011, so that we now cultivate about 1000 rose bushes on an area of half a hectare. Only Damascene roses were planted, mainly the Bulgarian oil rose, as it exudes a truly beguiling fragrance. In the same year, a large natural garden was created on an old orchard meadow under the farmhouse, in which countless herbs, perennials and wild shrubs now grow. In the spring of 2012, 1000 more lavender bushes were added to the southern slope behind our farm, a wonderful sight at flowering time, and above all extremely popular with bees, bumblebees and butterflies. In the summer of 2012 we opened our gourmet store, where we offer for sale our delicacies as well as selected specialties from other nature park farms. A small farm cafe completes our offer. In the courtyard planted with lavender and roses or in cozy places in the Genussladen our guests are spoiled with homemade pastries and a good cup of coffee. In spring 2018, a new rose field will now be planted. The current rose field, on a very meager and especially dry meadow, has unfortunately not proven itself, the yield and the growth of the roses was not satisfactory despite all the effort and dedication. Now we had the opportunity to acquire a small field at the foot of our farm and we are already looking forward to hopefully well growing and abundantly blooming rose bushes in the coming years. We have already created a lot, but we are not running out of ideas and projects. We are fully committed to implementing our plans. We are looking forward to surprising you with new products in the near future and to welcoming you in our delicatessen, in the farm café and in the natural garden.
