You pass the beautifully situated Eckfastl Chapel on the hiking trail towards Hollenegg Castle.
The Eckfastl Chapel was once built by a grateful man who had long been pursued by misfortune with his cattle. The small chapel was built in 1846 and renovated in 1982 in honour of St. Wolfgang. It is quite inconspicuous on the roadside near the Buschenschank Eckfastl, but once a year it receives a lot of attention. During the consecration of Easter meat, almost a few hundred people from the surrounding area gather there to have their Easter food blessed at this consecrated place.
The chapel can be visited at any time
