Hermann Schatzer has gained a lot of experience as a chef and restaurant manager in large hotels in Switzerland and America. However, he has never lost sight of the idea of fulfilling his dream of owning his own business in Austria at some point.
Together with his partner Isabella Waterl, who was born in Ettendorf near Stainz, he can now fulfil this goal at Gasthaus Jochum Zum Fuchswirt in Greisdorf. Isabella Waterl, a trained hairdresser, at the time with her own shop in Stainz, has worked in the catering industry in Salzburg for the last few years, where Hermann Schatzer met and fell in love with her. The result of this relationship are the two children Fabian and Stefan, with whom they have now returned together to beautiful Western Styria.
Hermann Schatzer says he is particularly proud of the tradition of the Fuchswirt and wants to uphold the regional cuisine paired with Carinthian delicacies and American steak variations. He is also enthusiastic about the quality of the local winegrowers and looks forward to a good cooperation with them.
In addition to the culinary delights, he can offer seven guest rooms, of course with a perfect breakfast. In order to fulfil all your guests' wishes, a team of 10 people will take care of the smooth running.
With great attention to detail, Hermann Schatzer and Isabella Waterl offer their guests excellent cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere, conscious of continuing the tradition of the Jochum inn "Zum Fuchswirt".
