We are THE Styrian rustic steakhouse in the heart of the Schilcherland region. We keep the transport routes of our meat very short and preferably we know the farmer and the animal personally. We combine the best Styrian beef from our surroundings, which we let ripen in our own aging chamber to the best "Dry Aged Beef", with the best regional side dishes. Also the classic Austrian cuisine with our regional delicacies is not neglected. The close rootedness with our homeland is also reflected in the preparation of the classic "Aufg'setzte Henn", a fine chicken roast. The whole thing is rounded off by a varied range of beverages - from natural juices to wines from our neighborhood. Everything is served in our extraordinary mill atmosphere.
The "Tanzmühle" has been around since 1749 and has been converted into a cozy inn. The rustic and cozy ambience invites everyone to linger. Our house can accommodate parties of up to 80 people.
In addition to our rural-modern menu, there are also specialty days in our house: Every Thursday we focus on the "inner values" - enjoy the finest offal. Every Saturday "Brat'ln" - delicious whole pieces from the wood-fired oven. Breakfast like an emperor - the traditional Tanzmühlen breakfast takes place once a month.
Vegetarians are not neglected here either. Seasonally, there are always different dishes on our menu.
