Kirche St. Nikolaus Trahütten
DeutschlandsbergThe church altar was consecrated in honor of Saints Martin and Nicholas.
First mentioned in 1381 and destroyed by the Turks in 1532. In 1534 the new building and extensive renovation took place. In 1841, on the occasion of a renovation in the altar, a document was found stating that in 1534 the Bishop of Lavant, Philip, honored the altar in honor of St. Consecrated Martin and Nikolaus. Today a baroque door frame that leads into the sacristy to the north catches the eye. The altarpieces depict the marriage of Mary and St. Martin and are by Baroque painter Philipp Carl Laubmann.
