As a regional winery, it is an exciting task to demonstrate the potential of the Styrian vineyards. The committed Silberberg team around master winemaker Gernot Lorenz, cellar master Klaus Fischer and oenologist Karl Menhart succeeds in this task by consistently pursuing quality. From 35 hectares in the local wine regions of Kitzeck-Sausal and Leutschach, wines with provenance are pressed in Silberberg. Fresh fruity regional wines of the Südsteiermark DAC line, strong local wines characterized by terroir of the respective origin and deep, multilayered Riedenweine with storage potential. The Silberbergers do not see wine as a job - it is their vocation!

The educational centre for viticulture and fruit growing Silberberg is not only the forge of outstanding winegrowers but has much more to offer:

1. guided tours with tasting
We offer the possibility to get an insight into the work with wine and fruit, Silberberg as an educational centre and Southern Styria as a region with a guided tour followed by a wine tasting. Pre-registration by telephone is necessary.

2. ex farm sale
In our shop you can taste and buy typical South Styrian wine, must, juice and vinegar specialities. This offer is possible at any time during our opening hours.

3. wine trail
Our Styrian wine and fruit trail has been completely redesigned. A 45-minute hike through the vineyards and orchards of Silberberg will take you into the world of fruit and wine in Styria, and you can enjoy the wonderful view from the Steinbruch vineyard.
