On a beautiful hill with an unobstructed view over the western Styrian hill country, the Maria Heimsuchung Chapel is an idyllic resting place on the way to the mountain village of Glashütten.
The lovely chapel Maria Heimsuchung with a floor made from eclogite (the typical, very rare rock of the Koralm) was built in 1988 by the Frauenrunde Gressenberg at 990 m above sea level. The small church is not only an expression of the deep attachment of the Gressenbergs to their faith, but also represents a further enrichment of Gressenberg's cultural buildings.
The chapel can always be visited
