Our inn is located in the small and idyllic village of Gündorf in the Saggau Valley. We are therefore at home at the foot of the beautiful Eichberg in the middle of the South Styrian wine country.
Our region, which is known for its enchanting landscape, is also characterised by a tasty drinking and eating culture. Our family business tries to combine all these advantages of our region by offering you typical Styrian specialities and comfortable guest rooms in a dreamlike region.
Specialities from Southern Styria
Our speciality and passion is to spoil our guests with typical regional delicacies. Our kitchen is open all day and offers specialities according to the season in addition to an a la carte menu.
These start during the cold season with the herring feast and the subsequent fish days. In spring, we offer a culinary spring in step with the regional offerings of our nature. The warm summer nights are perfect for enjoying Italian food and wine in our guest garden.
Styrian autumn is a highlight for Styrian cuisine. A quarter of Sturm can be enjoyed at this time of year with roast pork and pumpkin vegetables. We conclude our culinary cycle in winter with the venison weeks. From this time on, we can accompany our regional game dishes with the new wine, the so-called Styrian Junker.
