When paradise begins where the birds are, we are right in the middle of it. Our winery in Fötschach near Leutschach, close to the South Styrian Wine Route, has a very special relationship to the nimble flyers.
For centuries, the farm has borne the name "Vögl". Admittedly: The birds are not always the winegrowers' favourites, especially not before the harvest, when the starlings start harvesting. But that's what our southern Styrian landmark, the Klapotetz, is for anyway. The diversity of bird species, with which southern Styria in particular is blessed, is also an expression of the natural balance where naturalness comes to full maturity...
