Sandy, gravelly soils and the influence of the microclimate create the ideal conditions for excellent and exceptional white wines.
Our 13-hectare Eichberg vineyard is a little off the beaten track of the well-known wine routes of southern Styria and is now in its third generation. On a unique high plateau at 560 metres above sea level, we cultivate wines of origin with character on steep slopes. Sandy, gravelly soils and the influence of the microclimate create the ideal conditions for excellent and exceptional white wines. We work in and with nature. We therefore see the environment and a sustainable approach to nature as our obligation. Our guiding principle is "Quality is created in our vineyards here on the Eichberg". Less is more", this principle has characterised our winery for generations. We are not a winery that sees its focus in the masses, our heart beats for the best possible quality. Day after day. Year after year. The size of our winery allows us to take the exact steps required for top quality, from pruning to bottling. In addition, contact with our customers is an essential concern for us. This applies to our farm sales as well as to the support of our partners. Our wines stand for 100% Südsteiermark and, of course, 100% hand-picked.
