Christiane Muster | Ausstellungseröffnung

Search for lost time

he artist and painter Christiane Muster Brettschuh has lived in Arnfels for decades and has left her mark on the region with her works in public spaces and for sacred buildings. Christiane Muster was culturally influenced early on at her parents' home in Klagenfurt and during her studies in the exciting and stimulating Graz scene of the 1970s: architecture, jazz, literature, Forum Stadtpark, Trigon, manuscripts, Sterz - there was a lot of experimentation, boundaries (also between the arts) dissolved.

The exhibition shows works from various phases that document her artistic development. Her portraits, deeply rooted in the Styrian cultural scene, reflect inspiring encounters.
