10 years Rondell Gallery Bad Schwanberg
Rondell is the significant name of the round tower that forms the historical core of the cultural center. It was part of a fortification dating back to the 17th century. The roundel was later used as an ice cellar, including for a butcher's shop. In the years that followed, the tower fell into oblivion. Finally, local artist Bruno Wildbach was commissioned to redesign the dormant jewel. At the heart of Mr. Wildbach's architectural concept is the culturally and historically valuable traffic circle - an important point of reference for the history of the market town of Bad Schwanberg. It subtly combines the historic building with the requirements of contemporary use.
Today, the Rondell Gallery is an insider tip for exquisite cultural events. Exhibitions by local and internationally renowned artists are very popular in the gallery.
