When the Schilcherland wears one of its most beautiful colors, it's time to put on your hiking boots. The "Genuss-Schilchern" at the opening of the season in St. Stefan ob Stainz has become legendary.
The wineries open their cellar doors and present the new vintage wines. The Schilcher wine in all its facets and the great Styrian wines are decisive for this beautiful event. Taste the wines of our wineries and along the way you can expect a children's program, the young Kainachtaler, the Schuhplattler and the Blechvögl.
You can hike individually or join one of the guided tours. Stay wherever you like.....
The tastings, cellar tours and program points according to the program in the companies are offered from 10.00 - 16.00 o'clock. Take your time and linger in the Schilcherland St. Stefan ob Stainz and enjoy the even quieter time on the wine route.
Participation in the GenussSchilchern is only possible with a valid GenussSchilcher wristband (€ 15.00 per person). Show this at the participating business and consume the drink/tasting/guided tour on offer. Participation in the guided hikes is also possible with the "Genussarmband".

Please note that dogs are not allowed on guided hikes and hikes/events organized by us. You can of course take part in GenussSchilchern with your faithful companion on an individual basis.
