Every year not only the Christ Child comes, but also the Advent market around the former horse stable of Hollenegg Castle. The market, traditionally held on the first weekend of Advent, has been ringing in the beginning of the Advent season in an atmospheric way for many years. Numerous exhibitors offer visitors the opportunity to view and purchase their handicraft products. Among others, carvers and ceramists are represented. Some exhibitors will also show visitors on site what steps are necessary to make their products. For example, nativity scenes and figurines can be made from "woazlaschen", artistic handicrafts can be created with the help of lace and knitting needles, and intricately designed icons can be painted. Early children can be found in the Christmas craft room. Under expert guidance, Christmas gifts can be made and purchased. In addition to the exhibition of handicraft products, the Hollenegg Advent Market also provides for the physical well-being. In the Adventdörfl, on the forecourt of the Rossstall, local businesses provide guests with food and drink.
The castle café in the Kultursaal also invites you to linger over coffee and homemade pastries.
A brass band of the Marktmusikkapelle Hollenegg will provide a contemplative atmosphere.
