The Junker hike takes us from Junker vintner to Junker vintner and we walk around 5 km.
Let yourself be surprised by the young, Styrian messenger of the new vintage. Due to the size of the winery, we hike with a maximum of 40 people, it is a nice harmonious hike with wine presentations, culinary snacks and entertainment.
Only with advance reservation - please book online in good time!

The Langmann vlg. Lex has been family-owned since 1746, with three generations living and working on the farm today. It is the first winery in western Styria to be awarded the “Sustainable Austria” seal of approval. We welcome our guests to the Langmann Winery and Buschenschank at 12.30 p.m. and the first two Junker wines and a regional dish await them. At around 1.30 pm we continue to the Schilcherweingut Friedrich.
The Friedrich winery (home to Wine Queen Sophie I 2023 & 2024) is 100% dedicated to the Blauer Wildbacher grape. Almost 20 types of wine are created from this grape. The production of the Styrian messenger is explained to us in an exciting way and the family business presents itself and the new Styrian Junker wine - a Schilcherjunker, of course. After about 1/2 hour we walk via Lestein to the Trapl winery.
The Trapls have been based in St. Stefan ob Stainz for 400 years. Today Fabian Bayr runs the business with his Andrea and with the support of Edi Trapl and in addition to the winery, an excellent Buschenschank with regional specialties awaits you here. At the Trapl winery, a savory snack and two Junkerk presentations await us - a Schilcher and a white wine. Here you can round off the evening. The official hike is over. (around 17:00)
