An evening of laughter.
Bernhard Murg, the “original animal” of the Kabarett Simpl (for more than 20 years the comedian par excellence of the Simpl Revue), the main goofball at Niavarani's side (the leading role alongside Michael Niavarani in his “Richard III” and in “Romeo and Juliet”, both premiered at the Globe Theater Vienna) and also director of many Austrian cabaret greats such as Klaus Eckel, Gernot Kulis and Peter Klien and
Stefano Bernardin, the all-rounder (continuous role on ARD as Riccardo Riello in “Bozen Krimi”, currently on tour with his “HAMLET - one man show”, where he plays all the roles of the Shakespeare classic in 90 minutes and makes live music), the Nestroy and Romy award winner (Austrian theater and TV award) and former conferencier of the Kabarett Simpl (from 2013 to 2015 and then again in 2019) have finally decided to make their own program! “...
BIS EINER WEINT - Ein Abend zum Lachen!” is a journey through time with various sketches, double conferences, monologues and poems from different decades. The oldest sketch “Die Lefkojen” by Hugo Wiener is 100 years old. The youngest is by Murg and Bernardin. In between there are classic Farkas-Waldbrunn double-conferences and the most absurd Niavarani sketches. Stefano Bernardin and Bernhard Murg give each other nothing...
An evening like a journey through time: The oldest sketch is actually said to be a century old. By the way, this refers to the audience, whose eyes are filled with tears of laughter.
