For all those interested in culture, the doors of the visitor center Grottenhof are open again this year.
The permanent exhibition “Zeitreise Naturpark Südsteiermark” shows the development of the region from the primeval sea 15 million years ago through the Ice Age to today's cultural landscape. You can learn all about the valuable work of beekeepers in the special exhibition “Honey, the golden wonder of nature”. The four-hectare landscape park with its bee and nature trail, farm garden, pond and children's playground is a wonderful place to relax. EXHIBITION TOUR “TIME TRAVEL NATURE PARK SOUTHERN STYRIA” (AT 8.30 PM) From the primeval sea 15 million years ago to today's species-rich landscape in the Southern Styria Nature Park, you will learn lots of interesting facts about fauna and flora. BEEKEEPER TOUR (AT 21.00 HRS) A beekeeper will guide you through the special exhibition “Honey” with his extensive knowledge.
