With “Vom Jandln zum Ernst,” Christian Muthspiel creates an extraordinary musical-literary experience to mark Ernst Jandl’s 100th birthday. Based on his acclaimed solo performance “für und mit ernst,” which combined Jandl’s pre-recorded voice with live music, Muthspiel now expands the concept into an impressive orchestral project. Together with the 17-piece ORJAZZTRA VIENNA, he crafts a full-length dialogue between Jandl’s powerful voice and the rich soundscapes of jazz.

With “Six String Resistance,” “Sir” Oliver Mally (AUT), Peter Schneider (D), and Roberto Luti (IT) deliver a blues experience like no other. These exceptional guitarists share over 20,000 concerts worth of experience, transcending the traditional blues genre with boundless creativity and passion.

This concert is a special highlight: “Sir” Oliver Mally celebrates his 40th stage anniversary – a milestone making this evening truly unforgettable. His deep, authentic songs tell stories drawn from life. Alongside Munich-based guitar virtuoso Peter Schneider and world-renowned slide guitarist Roberto Luti, the trio crafts a musical dialogue rich in emotion, dynamism, and improvisation.
