- From the starting point at the market square in Wies, start in a westerly direction towards Altenmarkt. At the end of the village turn into the "alte Wieser-Straße" and the first ascent begins up to the hill after the "Schönen Aussicht".
- From there it's a gentle descent downhill and past the Buschenschank Pichlippi, which offers wine and culinary delights as well as a great children's playground, down to Eibiswald and leisurely to the Eibiswald church square, the starting point for many other mountain bike tours.
- At the end of the main square, a short detour to the left leads up to the festival hall of the market town of Eibiswald, to the vocational school and past Eibiswald Castle. The castle is open on school days as the apprentice house of the Styrian Chamber of Commerce. The inner courtyard of the castle is worth seeing. To do so, leave the route briefly, turn left after the festival hall and continue past the vocational school in an easterly direction to the castle.
- Staying on or returning to the original route, finish the short loop following the signs until you reach the B69. From there, continue in a westerly direction, turn off at the roundabout in the direction of St. Oswald/Soboth and continue from there for around one kilometre to Gasthof Bachseppl (closed).
- There, at the signposted turn-off, the first ascent begins over the Aichberg to the Garber Wine and Pleasure World. The route leads past the vineyards of the Garber family and opens up wonderful views back towards Eibiswald and the Kapuner mountain.
- At the Garber Winery, in addition to the Wine and Pleasure World, the panorama tower invites you to take a break and enjoy a panoramic view of southwest Styria.
- From the Garber winery, the route continues downhill in an easterly direction, over to the Filatsch inn, where a short, crisp climb over the Höhenstraße awaits in a northerly direction and then downhill to the turnoff into the Wolfgruben.
- This cool downhill leads into the densely wooded Wolfgruben-Graben. If you think back 200 years and let your imagination run wild, you can certainly associate this with a former wolf retreat.
- Downhill, a gravel section begins that leads to the Peiserhof.
- The next small challenge is a short climb from the Wolfgruben up to Haiden to the Peiserhof. From there, wonderful views open up again down to Eibiswald, over to the Kapuner, the Radlpass and St. Lorenzen. With the ascent to Haiden, the difficulties of the route are as good as overcome.
- From Haiden you cross the Radlpass federal road over the cycle and pedestrian bridge and roll along the Kowaldstraße again to the Buschenschank Pichlippi, from there you roll along the same route back to the starting point in Wies.
