The route invites you to discover the advantages of the region with a view of the castle and the vineyards. A variety of routes with a central starting point at the main square and all levels of difficulty invite you to discover the surroundings around Stainz in a sporty and above all healthy way.

From the north: Motorway Munich - Salzburg - Eben - Schladming - Liezen onto the A9 towards Graz. Exit at Lieboch and follow the B76 towards Deutschlandsberg. Leave the B76 in Stainz and follow the signs to the city centre.

A9 is subject to toll - Gleinalmtunnel. Alternative: at St. Michael take the S6 towards Bruck and in Bruck take the S35 towards Graz.

From the west: In Villach take the A2 towards Klagenfurt. Take the Steinberg exit and head towards Stainz.

From the east: A2: Vienna - Aspang - Hartberg - Fürstenfeld - Graz. From Graz continue on the A2 in the direction of Klagenfurt and take the Lieboch exit in the direction of Stainz/Deutschlandsberg/Eibiswald. Follow the B76 to Stainz.

From the south: A1 from Marburg to Leibnitz. Exit in Leibnitz (Gralla) and continue on the B74 in the direction of Deutschlandsberg (Heimschuh - Gleinstätten - St.Martin - Deutschlandsberg). Pass the LKH Deutschlandsberg, at each of the four roundabouts take the second exit in the direction of Stainz-Graz. Follow the B 76 in the direction of Stainz. Directly in Stainz, take the third exit at the JET roundabout and drive towards the centre.

On this running route you can explore beautiful Stainz. Starting at the main square in Stainz, run in the direction of Eckwirt. At the first intersection, turn right towards Flascherlzug and after a few metres turn right again into Lastenstraße. At the end of this street keep left and after 180 metres turn right again into Engelweingartenstraße. Follow this road until you turn right into Neurath. Here you can see the Schlossblick Alpacas on your left. Stay on Neurathstraße, which bends to the right after 600 metres and continues straight ahead for another 600 metres.

Once you have arrived in Wald ob Stainz, turn right again. Here you walk past the dog school and the Stainz sports field. Follow Sauerbrunnstraße for about 1.6 km until you reach the village of Stainz. Turn right at the Hubmann department stores' and then, directly at the town hall, turn left to the main square.

Now you have finished your run and can enjoy the cosy atmosphere at Stainzer Hauptlatz.

After about 2.2 km, take a look to the left. Here you will discover the Schlossblick Alpacas
