Bremstein
This leisurely hike in the eastern part of the Seckau Alps leads from the Untere Bodenhütte (1385 m) on a steady ascent, through the softly formed Freudental valley on the Bremstein (1868 m).
An evenly rising terrain awaits us in this part of the Seckau Alps. The course of the trail leads on forest roads and narrow hiking paths mostly through forest areas and in the upper area through open pastures with isolated stands of mountain pine. On the summit of the Bremstein, which is in the district of Leoben, you can see the core area of the Seckau Alps, the Liesingtal valley in front of us with the Eisenerzer Alps behind.
