Hinteregger Alm is a 184-hectare alpine pasture in the municipality of Liezen in the Austrian province of Styria. The alp is located on a terrain level north of Liezen, at the foot of the Hochangern mountain range, at the southern end of the Totes Gebirge, at an altitude of about 1150 m above sea level to 1350 m above sea level.

Take the Ennstal road (B 320) or the Pyhrn freeway (A 9) to Liezen.
Via the Höhenstraße, past the Liezen adventure pool, you hike to the "Gampersberger. Via Liezener Eck and viewpoint "Dachsteinblick" (bench) you reach the Hinteregger Alm with rustic snack stations. Descent via the Höll, Hinteregger Weg, Gasthof Schlagerbauer, Klausensteig to the city center.
Sturdy mountain boots or good trekking shoes, as well as hiking backpack with appropriate contents (water bottle, first aid, hiking map, sun protection, snack, etc.). You should also be well prepared for a change of weather. Cell phone for emergency calls.
On the alp you will find wonderful hiking opportunities.

Green Zone
The Green Zone at the Pyhrn parking lot is valid from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 17:00. The cost of parking is € 0,10 per hour, so you can park for € 1,-- the whole day in the Green Zone at the Pyhrn parking lot.
