Winter Hiking Trail Rittisberg
A winter hiking trail runs around the summit of the Rittisberg at approx. 1,500 m above sea level.
Beautiful winter hiking trail with panoramic views of the Dachstein south walls in the Schladminger Tauern and the Ramsau plateau. The path runs parallel to the cross-country ski run. There are two possible junctions to get to the Sonnenalm or Halseralm and from there you can hike back to Ramsau-Ort or to the valley station of the Rittisbergbahn.

From west:
Tauernautobahn A 10 to the Ennstal junction - exit in the direction of Graz/Schladming - about 20 km on the Ennstal federal road to Schladming. Via the state road to Ramsau am Dachstein and to the Rittisberg car park in Ramsau-Schildlehen.
From North/East:
Pyhrnautobahn in the direction of Liezen Ennstalbundesstraße to Schladming. Via the state road to Ramsau am Dachstein and to the Rittisberg car park in Ramsau-Schildlehen.
From the mountain station of the Rittisbergbahn go west towards the Rittisberg summit and follow the winter hiking trail along the cross-country ski run around the Rittisberg summit. After about 1.5 to 2 hours you will return to the starting point on the circular route. On the south side there are two options for branching off into the valley to the Sonnenalm or Halseralm, from where you can hike back towards Ramsau-Ort or back to the valley station of the Rittisbergbahn.
The playground "I love Rittisberg" is located at the start and finish point at the mountain station of the Rittisbergbahn.
With the buses of the Ramsauer Verkehrsbetriebe from Schladming to Ramsau. The exit is directly at the Ski Willy/Rittislift stop.
Parking is available at the valley terminal of Rittisbergbahn.
