Die drei Zinken on the Tanzstattalpe Hoher-, Kleiner- und Niederer Zinken
The Wölzer Tauern, which are partly rugged in their centre, run out to the southeast towards the Murtal valley and its side valleys with gentle, wide meadow ridges. The tour presented here runs over such a ridge in Lachtal from the Klosterneuburgerhütte to the Hoher Zinken, Kleiner Zinken and Niederer Zinken.
From the starting point, the Klosterneuburgerhütte, (located at 1,902 metres above sea level) to the Tanzstattkapelle on marked hiking trails and paths (trail 958). Attention: the Klosterneuburgerhütte is not open. The Tanzstattkapelle is an extremely popular photo motif in summer as well as in winter and is worth a visit in any case. The ascent is easy. Far ahead you can see the summit of the "Niedrigen Zinken" 2,212 m. The route continues to the reservoir and up to the "Kleiner Zinken". Along the path to the summit you will see again and again beautiful and rare species of flowers, further on to the Niedere and Hoher Zinken at 2222 metres above sea level. Under the impression of a breathtaking mountain landscape with a view all the way to the Dachstein, we enjoy the view.
