HWW-Hiking Trail: Lafnitz - St. Ilgen (circular trail)
This HWW hiking route is part of the Wechselland Historical Long-Distance Hiking Trail (HWW), which tells the story of Wechselland along more than 100 HWW stations. More information can be found at www.wechsel-wandern.at.
This HWW hiking route leads through the village of Lafnitz. Along the HWW route, you pass the St. Ilgen HWW station, where you can find out what the church originally was.

Arrival by car
- Take the A2 Süd highway.
- Take exit 115 Hartberg and turn left onto the B54 in the direction of Hartberg.
- Drive through Hartberg and follow the B54 for about 15 km.
- Turn left onto the L408 in the direction of Lafnitz.
- Arrival in Lafnitz: After about 4 km you reach the village of Lafnitz.
The tour is not signposted throughout. Route guidance with app recommended.

- Along the route, you pass the St. Ilgen HWW station.
