More information

On the Murtalstraße S36, take the Knittelfeld Ost exit or the St. Lorenzen exit and follow the signs to St. Margarethen.
We start in the center of St. Margarethen and ride to Gobernitz in Knittelfeld. Shortly after the Mur bridge, we turn left to Großlobming. In the center of the village at Gasthaus Wulz we continue right past the FS Großlobming (Kräutermensch) towards Weißkirchen. Now we ride leisurely along the fields to the small village of Möbersdorf. From there, we cycle slightly uphill to Silberrain and cross Weißkirchnerstraße. Shortly before Fisching, we turn right to the Fisching Mur power station.  The route continues along a shady, asphalted path through the forest to the Mur power station and then on to Judenburg.
A great place to stop is in Großlobming at the Kräutermenschen. We find beautiful shady resting places in the Murwald forest near the power station.
