From Bruck via the "Tausendersteig" to Schweizeben
Starting in Bruck an der Mur, the trail leads gently – and never too steeply – through the Weitental Nature Conservation Center and across Schweizeben (alpine pasture with a serviced hut) all the way up to the scenic summit of the Hochanger (alpine meadow, mountain shelter, summit cross).
Together with the Weitental Nature Conservation Center and the public wildlife rescue station located at the trailhead, this route makes for an ideal family outing. The two mountain huts along the way, combined with a surprisingly exciting ascent for a forest and meadow mountain, offer a varied and rewarding day of hiking.
This tour is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful routes to the summit of the Hochanger.
