The Murau Municipal Theatre aims to bring the primarily young audience closer to classical music. It is not for nothing that “Peter and the Wolf” is one of the most frequently performed works of classical music in the world. The Murau theater ensemble presents this musical fairy tale for everyone aged 3 and up from November 29 - December 1, 2024 and from December 6 - 8, 2024 in the Murau Chamber of Labor Hall. Sergei Prokofiev's timeless classic “Peter and the Wolf” introduces children to the instruments of a symphony orchestra with catchy melodies. The exciting story tells of a wolf who goes hunting for tasty ducks. However, Peter and the hunters put a stop to his activities: they capture the wolf and take him to the zoo.
