St. Lambrecht

In 2014, a theater project was started in St. Lambrecht to give the youth of the region some inspired summer days. This turned into Wandelbühne: from 25 actors, the directing team and a few helpers in the first year, a project with a total of over 120 actors, an artistic leading team - a dozen theater professionals with international experience - and around 80 (volunteer) helpers in the background grew within a few years.

Moreover, the youth-only project has become an intergenerational one for people between 7 and 97. This is rounded off by two professional performers and an eight-piece band, who are on stage with the young and adult participants - who now come to St. Lambrecht from all over Austria every summer. In addition, the cooperation of the Wandelbühne with the surrounding schools as well as the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park and other institutions with an affinity for culture shapes the theater landscape of Upper Styria throughout the year.
