In the restaurant they spoil the hotel guests and offer some seats to non-resident guests for breakfast and dinner. At lunchtime there is no restaurant service for individual travelers, but small and large groups are welcome by appointment. Cooking is always fresh, down-to-earth recipes are close to the heart. The Schallerwirt cooks his seasonal dishes with products from the region and pays attention to their production, sustainability and taste.
The philosophy of Slow Food is the guideline. The motto "Above & Below" brings the strengths of Styria to the table. The best from the fertile south and the rugged north. The eye for the little things has also been preserved here. So guests also discover traditional dishes that only become new taste experiences with subtle changes.
Every day there is at least one menu without meat on the menu, i.e. vegetarian or vegan dishes. Especially in this area you can see a big change over the last years. About 40% of our house guests give up meat and fish more often. And on the other hand, convinced vegetarians enjoy the dishes of Krakow young deer and lamb from the Rantenalm. Because they are concerned with origin and mindfulness and not with militant meat renunciation.
