The 35-meter-long Kaindorf Bridge demonstrates the versatility of wood as a building material.
It spans the Mur and connects the settlements on the sunny and shady sides. The timber-steel truss structure was built using 26 m3 of laminated larch timber and 13 tons of steel. The lateral arches are not only beautifully shaped, but also a proven load-bearing system in bridge construction.
The Kaindorfbridge is freely accessible at all times.
