Designated a natural monument, the gorge in St. Lambrecht is only a few minutes away from the monastery. The path leads over steps and bridges to a meadow with a viewpoint.
Formed during the Ice Age, it is now an ecological gem with special rock and plant species. At the end of the gorge there are wooden loungers in a meadow where you can enjoy a wonderful view of St. Lambrecht. The hiking trail is 200m long.
The ideal time for a short hike is between April and October.
The gorge is freely accessible
