The Klausnerberg saw, built between 1923 and 1925, was a leap forward in wood processing, as it did away with much of the heavy physical labor.
The saw is still used today by a farmers' collective for the production of timber. The cooperative has 75 members and only cuts wood for its own use.

In summer, the “Sogfest” takes place on selected Tuesdays at the Klausbergsäge.
