A window into the past opens in the Lohmühle.
Until the 1960s, two stages of leather processing took place here. The trouser leather was beaten soft in the leather stamping machine. The "Lohbrech" was used to crush spruce bark, which contained tanning agents. This tannin was sold to tanneries. The plant has been lovingly restored and can be visited as part of a guided tour.
